New Color OS 6 Android Pie Update for Realme Devices

Realme already confirmed that it will be updating all of its devices to Color OS 6 which will run on Android (9.0) Pie in the second quarter of this year. The company event rolled out Android Q beta 3 for its latest Realme 3 Pro smartphone, which is the first phone in the range to support it. Now, the company has confirmed to start Beta Testing for the Android Pie based Color OS 6 next week, said the company’s officials. The beta testing program will also add Hyper Boost 2.0 for the devices with the update except for Realme 2, C1 and C2.

Given below is the list of devices that will get Android Pie ColorOS 6 beta update and the time frame:

  • Realme 2 Pro- May 15th with Hal3/Camera API support
  • Realme 1 and Realme U1- June 5th
  • Realme 2 and C1- June 15th

The officials also said that the company will be releasing a stable update for all of the devices mentioned only after the beta testing is over. This time could vary between 15 to 20 days. So, we can expect a stable update for all these phones by the end of next month. It will also bring Digital Wellbeing feature with an OTA(Over the Air) update in the future.
