NEW DELHI: CM Arvind Kejriwal met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday and discussed issues related to Delhi violence and coronavirus. This is his first meeting with the PM after he took charge for a third term after the Aam Aadmi Party registered victory in the Delhi assembly polls last month.
Following the meeting, Kejriwal said that he discussed issues like Delhi violence and the increasing threat of coronavirus after one case for the COVID-19 tested positive in the national capital on Monday.
“I told him that whoever is found guilty for Delhi violence should be given strictest punishment. Also, we discussed that we have to work together against CoronaVirus,” said Kejriwal.
“Delhi Police acted in a swift manner to control the situation when rumors were spread on Sunday night. Had the police acted with the same efficiency on Monday and Tuesday last week when riots were confined in a district, so many lives could have been saved,” he added.
The meeting also comes in wake of communal violence in Northeast Delhi which has so far claimed 46 lives and left more than 200 people injured.
Last week, Kejriwal had met Union Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss the situation in Delhi following the clashes. “Amit Shah assured all help. We decided we must rise above politics,” the Delhi CM had said after the meeting.

It’s not just you: Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp are all currently down for users around the world. We’re seeing error messages on all three services across iOS applications as well as on the web. Users are being greeted with error messages such as: “Sorry, something went wrong,” “5xx Server Error,” and more.

The outages quickly started trending on Twitter as users flocked to the competing social network to check to see if other users were affected by the downtime. Humorously, the hashtag “#DeleteFacebook” is also trending on Twitter as the company battles continued pushback against the effects its platforms have on younger users.
While some Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp outages only affect certain geographic regions, the services are down worldwide today. This includes the United States, the UK, Brazil, Kuwait, and more.
The outage is also affecting platforms and services that use Facebook login. Niantic, the creator of Pokémon GO, says that it is “looking into reports of errors associated with Facebook login, and will update here once we have more information.”
Facebook has not yet publicly commented on the ongoing outages affecting all of its services. We’ll be sure to update this story as we learn more. The issue appears to be related to some sort of DNS problem affecting Facebook servers.
